Vote no on the CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633). This bill passed the House with help from 78 Democrats who should have known better — Senate Democrats need to be the firewall. The CLARITY Act is not real crypto regulation. It lets companies self-certify their own stocks as crypto tokens to dodge SEC oversight, putting $120 trillion in retirement, pension, and investor savings at risk. It lets FDIC-insured banks speculate like crypto hedge funds and hold volatile assets as collateral — meaning taxpayers are on the hook when it goes wrong. It also does nothing to close money laundering and sanctions evasion loopholes, leaving mixers and decentralized exchanges wide open for criminals and foreign adversaries. This bill strips antifraud protections, defunds SEC authority, and hands a massive gift to billionaires and bad actors. Please vote no.
