Documented evidence shows that Secretary Rollins has repeatedly utilized official, taxpayer-funded communication channels to proselytize a specific evangelical Christian doctrine to 100,000 federal employees. This behavior represents a catastrophic failure of institutional competency and a direct assault on the First Amendment. By declaring specific religious tenets as the "foundation of our faith" in mandatory agency-wide emails, the Secretary has: - Established a De Facto State Religion: Utilizing government infrastructure to promote any one religious doctrine violates the Establishment Clause and signals that the USDA is no longer a religiously neutral workplace. - Created a Hostile and Coercive Environment: Federal employees have reported fearing professional retaliation if they opt out of these religious communiqués. This is a violation of Equal Protection and a breach of the USDA’s own 2025 neutrality policies. - Misappropriated Public Funds: The use of federal time, personnel, and digital assets to disseminate religious sermons is a gross misuse of agency appropriations.
