Published reports from several trusted sources indicate the state is sending members of the Texas National Guard to other states. Nothing could be more anathema to the mission of these fine men, women and soldiers. They serve the people of Texas and should not be used as props or to assist with law enforcement in far away states. Assisting with domestic law enforcement is strictly forbidden by law and is confusing to the public. Please work to immediately order the return of these troops to Texas where they should muster at their usual stations assisting residents. Armed soldiers should not be in the several far flung states pointing their weapons at citizens, visitors, clergy or business people. How dare you!
