Condemn Political Violence

To: Sen. Young, Sen. Banks, Rep. Messmer

From: A verified voter in Mount Vernon, IN

November 21

The President of the United States has now publicly called for the death of Democratic representatives, who also happen to be veterans. I am writing to urge you to meet this moment. Publicly denounce his rhetoric. Denounce all political violence. This year, we saw the political assassinations of both Representative Melissa Hortman and of Charlie Kirk. This is unacceptable. It wasn’t long ago that Republicans were in an outrage over the perceived insufficient response of Democrats to Kirk’s murder. Where is the outrage now? The President cannot be above the law. He MUST be held accountable for his statements and his actions. The office of the President, and that of every US Representative is meant to serve the People. The President lives in The People’s House. We demand that you represent us, as you swore to do. You represent both Democrats and Republicans. We are counting on you to uphold the law and best serve this country. I believe it’s time to activate Article 25 and Investigation/Impeachment/Conviction. The President is exhibiting dementia symptoms, which include forgetfulness, sleep apnea, and anger/aggression. This President is not been fit for office and that is becoming even more clear with every interview and Truth Social post. We the People are counting on you to do what’s right.
