I’m appalled to learn the GA senate is trying to prohibit public schools from advocating for any students lumped under the “diverse” label. Kids spend years in classrooms - there are few places so effectively able to sound the alarm about what is or isn’t working for our young people. Forbidding schools from advocating for their students won’t solve a single problem our kids are facing. It only demands they suffer in silence. As your constituent, I ask that you refuse to support SB120.
