Thank you for your service to Massachusetts- I am writing today to implore you to include the annual line item budget for Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. This school has been the standard setter in educational quality for at both the local and national level. The house budget included the $2M dollar appropriation but the senate did not. Please seek to revise the budget to include the appropriation and keep Mass Academy of Math and Science alive. It is a model of what public school education can do when serving the commonwealth. As a graduate myself ‘98, I would not have had the opportunities in science that I have without that institution. Please give other Massachusetts school kids that same opportunity.
