P.S. Senators, please disregard my last email. That was directed at Congressman Womack, whom I believe to still have some of his spine intact. The two of you seem to be 100% tainted by the rot that has permeated your party. I often wonder what Senator John McCain would think of the current state of your party and our country.To paraphrase the quote from Senator Lindsay Graham, roughly 'If we nominate Donald Trump, we will be destroyed & we will deserve it.' Now I know y'all are hard at work at the Senate & not on a vacay like Congress! So that other email doesn't exactly pertain to you. But! All y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. All y'all should have toured the Constitution exhibit & let the hallowed words wash over you. All y'all should remember your oath. Do some soul-searching, Senators. Remember why you wanted to serve in the first place. I refuse to believe that *this is what y'all wanted. "No Kings" is what this country was founded on! Quite literally. So let's act like it, use your power & get this administration under control. 40 billion dollar bailout to another country (not our own)? Now Kristi Noem is getting 2 private planes & ICE is masked goons grabbing people off the street? I was so heartened to see the 2 major airports in Arkansas refusing to air her disgusting PR slop blaming Democrats for the shutdown. Who has power of the 3 branches of government now? What a disastrous, gigantic mess y'all have made. What really gets under my skin is that deep in your guts, you know this is wrong. Please listen to your constituents. Don't look away from the signs and protests. 75 million people did not vote for this. And I suspect that the ones that *did vote Republican did not vote for this, either. Millions of eligible voters didn't vote at all, especially here in Arkansas, where you know is a low-turnout state. I've called your offices. I've written letters before. What does it say about me, that I still have hope & genuinely believe in the goodness of my fellow Americans. That includes y'all, my representatives in government. Lord, help us all.
