Protect Disabled and Terminally Ill Children from Harmful Legislation

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Arrington, Sen. Cornyn

From: A constituent in Abilene, TX

June 25

You need to act now to stop Tennessee's effort to target disabled and terminally ill children. Whatever legislation or policy is advancing in Nashville that strips protections, cuts services, or denies care to these kids must be blocked. These children are among the most vulnerable people in our state, and they deserve protection, not political targeting. Families caring for children with disabilities or terminal illnesses are already carrying an enormous weight. Policies that reduce their access to medical care, educational support, or legal protections don't save money — they push families into crisis. I expect you to use every tool available to oppose this and to stand publicly against any measure that treats the most fragile children in Tennessee as expendable.
