I am writing to urge you to support the SENATE'S budget that requires data centers to finally pay their fair share with an Impact Fee here in Virginia. In 2025, the data center industry was exempt from $1.6 billion in state sales and use taxes. That is revenue we could use to invest in affordable healthcare, childcare, housing, energy, and our public schools. Please support the Senate's budget proposal that, at the very least, places a fee on the industry. Thank you and have a nice day!
