After reading about Donald Trump's speech last week, I would like reassurance that Rep. Fitzpatrick will act to protect the integrity of our elections in the fall. Specifically, will he commit to certifying the results of the 2026 midterm elections once Pennsylvania certifies them? Second, will he oppose any effort to use federal agencies, including the military, to interfere with counting or certification? And finally will he protect the independence of state and local election officials from federal interference? As a constituent, I would appreciate getting reassurance on these matters, and would like to see Rep. Fitzpatrick speak publicly to assure his constituents that he will do everything in his power to prevent interference by the administration in a process that is by law the province of the states. Thank you.
