I understand that you will soon be voting on a budget that includes ICE funding. ICE has not proven that it deserves further funding. ICE has shown that its hiring and training are so lacking that when they enter a community they bring violence where it previously did not exist and they act in numerous unconstitutional ways. ICE should receive no funding without restrictions that correct their abuses. If no such restrictions are included then they should be defunded until such time as they get their act together and follow the law instead of breaking it. Congressional power of the purse is a tool you should use to bring ICE back into compliance with the US Constitution.
