Your voting record concerns

To: Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Fallon, Sen. Cruz

From: A constituent in Prosper, TX

May 3

As a educated citizen, I do not require a lesson on the deportation of illegal immigrants. What I need is a clear explanation of your position and votes regarding the deportation of lawful immigrants and U.S. citizens. Furthermore, your recent vote to deport U.S. citizens raises serious concerns that deserve more than a brief response. You were elected to represent the citizens who chose you, yet I see little evidence of support for our country, Democracy or the Constitution in your voting record. Therefore, I would like you to address the following questions: 1. How can you justify supporting the deportation of law-abiding immigrants to concentration camps in El Salvador? 2. What is your rationale for condoning the deportation of U.S. citizens, including very young children, particularly when one of them is a cancer patient without access to her medication? 3. It is illegal to deport U.S. citizens. Can you explain how this aligns with your actions and support? It is disheartening to witness a senator who once worked across party lines and demonstrated common sense now capitulating to extreme views. As a nation, we will make our voices heard, even in Texas, where we have seen troubling leadership. Come 2026, I believe we can enact change. You face a critical choice: serve the people who elected you and uphold your constitutional commitment, or continue down a perilous path that endangers our country, a path to which you will contribute.
