Good morning! It’s gloomy and raining outside my window today, but that’s ok- I’ll fill these hours with writing my Congress people and the “commander in chief.” Remember that time you gave a speech pretending you understood what it meant to be human? When you used the word “groceries” like it was your common vernacular? Of course you don’t. Fake news, am I right? But I digress. Those foreign sounding groceries of which you spoke became incredibly expensive under your authority. You know… after you promised the prices would come down… And that problem is about to be compounded because of another one of your actions. There are so many recalls right now. Grocery shelves are thinning out. Do you understand why? I’m guessing not… When you cut funding and guidelines to the FDA and other agencies, food inspections became willy-nilly. Certain parasites and bacteria didn’t have to be looked for anymore. People became sick. Grocery shopping became a game of chance- consumers first wondering if the items they needed would be available, and then having to gamble on whether or not they were safe for human consumption. I know you were a gameshow host and think this is all just so fun and exciting… but the people on your show ASKED to play. WE THE PEOPLE… did not. Your core constituents say it has to get worse before it can get better. A year and a half in, they’re starting to waver. What will you do when they come for you? Or is the grocery debacle just another way for you to weaken the opposition? You’re a plague. A parasite. A bacterial. And WE THE PEOPLE want a recall.
