Vote Yes on the School Access to Naloxone Act of 2026

To: Rep. Turner, Sen. Moreno, Sen. Husted

From: A constituent in Springfield, OH

March 14

I urge you to vote yes on the School Access to Naloxone Act of 2026. The School Access to Naloxone Act of 2026 is an important piece of legislation that can help protect students and save lives. Opioid overdoses have increasingly affected adolescents and young adults, making it critical that schools are prepared to respond to emergencies. By providing funding and training for school personnel to carry and administer naloxone, this bill ensures that life-saving medication is available when every second matters. Just as schools are equipped with defibrillators for cardiac emergencies, they should also have tools to respond to opioid overdoses. Expanding access to naloxone in schools not only improves emergency response but also demonstrates a commitment to student health, safety, and prevention.
