With the passage of the so-called “big beautiful bill,” it is clear that the usual channels for public influence have been shut down. We followed the process. We voted. We organized. We petitioned. But the outcome was sealed before the debate began.
The courts no longer protect us. Regulatory agencies answer to private interests. Votes are diluted. The legal avenues meant to keep power in check have been usurped.
When all other means fail, a general strike becomes the only remaining path. It is not a call for chaos. It is a demand for dignity. I urge you to support this movement and speak on behalf of those who no longer have a voice in the system.
