I urge you to act immediately to restore the Medicare Part D premium stabilization program that the Trump administration is ending a year ahead of schedule.
These temporary subsidies were created to help keep prescription drug premiums affordable while Medicare implemented the Inflation Reduction Act’s prescription drug reforms. They were expected to continue through 2027.
Ending them early will force millions of seniors and people with disabilities to pay more for the prescription drug coverage they depend on.
Congress should not allow affordable Medicare coverage to become more expensive because of an unnecessary administrative decision.
Please restore these premium stabilization payments and protect Medicare beneficiaries from higher prescription drug costs.
