How can Republicans justify having the House go into recess? Diesel costs just hit an all-time high. Our nation is at war. The bond market is quivering. The urgency of AI regulation has come to a critical moment. Congress should be working overtime. Instead Speaker Johnson sent House members home. All to dodge one uncomfortable vote - much like his maneuvers last year to hold off the Epstein files. You don't have to be a Democrat to find that disgraceful. And remember, the Trump-Elstein scandal will never go away until all of the victims see justice served.
