I'm writing about a proposed regulation from the Fish & Wildlife Commission regarding bobcat and otter hunting. Right now, the regulation allows a 5-bobcat and 10-otter daytime bag limit with no nighttime harvest. The proposed regulation would double the bag limit to 10 bobcats and 15 otters per person, with one of those allowed to be taken at night. The concerning part is that this proposal was made without first conducting a study. I respectfully ask that this proposal NOT be approved until a proper population study has been completed. Thank you.
