Writing to let you know that we support funding TSA workers, but not ICE at this time. TSA should continue its work and TSA agents should continue to be paid during the shutdown. There has been no dysfunction there. ICE is another story. We do not approve of the unaccountable way it has been deployed to US cities, with agents lacking training in conflict de-escalation, running rampant, grabbing people in their cars, entering peoples homes without judicial warrants, all of which that has resulted in the death US citizens. There is clearly more work to do there.
