Sample letter: I am deeply alarmed by reports that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been granted access to the U.S. Treasury’s payment system, which processes Social Security benefits, tax refunds, and other federal payments. This system contains sensitive personal data, including my Social Security number, and millions of other American’s information. No private billionaire should have access to such information, especially without strict oversight and transparency. This is a serious privacy and national security risk. I urge you to demand an immediate investigation and take action to protect the personal data of all Americans. As my Governor and American, please communicate what steps are being taken to address this urgent issue.
