Prioritize medical research over White House ballroom renovations

To: Sen. Moreno, Sen. Husted, Rep. Joyce

From: A constituent in Willoughby, OH

July 31

It is highly concerning that $200 million in taxpayer funds are being allocated for an extravagant new White House ballroom, while vital programs like pediatric cancer research face budget cuts. As a nation, we should prioritize investing in lifesaving medical advancements and support for vulnerable populations over lavish renovations that solely benefit the elite. I urge you to reconsider this misguided allocation of resources and instead direct funds towards initiatives that tangibly improve the lives of all Americans, especially children battling devastating illnesses like cancer. Our tax dollars deserve to be spent responsibly on initiatives that uplift society as a whole.
