I am writing to protest the current plan to replace formal Jeffrey Epstein child sex-trafficking investigation hearings with informal roundtables. This is an obvious attempt to shield powerful people from accountability.
The proposed roundtables would eliminate sworn testimony, formal rules, and subpoena votes. The perpetrators mentioned in the child-prostitution files would avoid testifying under oath about their connections to Epstein. The public deserves answers under oath, not casual conversations with no legal consequences for lying. The survivors need justice.
True oversight requires true accountability. My wife and I ask you to demand traditional hearings where witnesses are sworn in, face subpoena power, and answer questions on the record. Anything less is a cover-up designed to protect the politically connected while victims get nothing.
