I am horrified and outraged by the Pentagon’s plan to livestream the December 3 execution of Nidal Hasan. Making an execution public would put us in the company of countries like Iran, Afghanistan, and North Korea. It’s morally repugnant. The UN says it constitutes torture. This is also something our children could see. It will traumatize them for life. Congress needs to do anything and everything it can to stop it. I am nauseated to live under a government that would even consider such a hideous suggestion. Also, impeach Pete Hegseth now. He’s unfit to stay in his position or any position within any government or military organization for one day more. Also, ICE is out of control and must be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up. They just shot the father of a five year old who was standing next to him and pleaded that he not die. How tragic is THAT? Defund them now!
