Why are you blocking the ERA from being published? I have heard your old answer- that's up to Congress, or the Courts. But deferring to them isn't what I voted for you to do. When I helped you get elected, I voted for someone who would fight for my rights. Someone who would reverse as many injustices of the outgoing Trump administration as he possibly could. The Republican Party fights for their values even beyond the limits of their power- why won't my party fight for me? I can only conclude either you secretly oppose equal rights for women, or you don't think they're important enough to take even the smallest risk of using your completely legitimate executive powers to check the blatant overreach of the Courts and the deadlock of Congress. Please, show me the Democratic Party has a spine. Direct the Archivist to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment. What the other branches do is not your concern, and this is too important to stall any longer. The women of America are watching, and so is history. Thank you.
