Myself and everyone I know is beside ourselves with distress around the tariffs. They don’t make sense! We are making ourselves a global pariah where other countries don’t want to engage in trade with us! The stock market continues to crash! Consumers can look forward to the cost of all goods increasing! Experts say families can expect an increase in 4,200 a year in our costs! I don’t know anyone who can afford this! Other countries are shaking their heads at us as we blow up decades of alliances and trade partners! This doesn’t help us! To increase manufacturing in our country for all goods will take anywhere from three to five years according to experts! How are we supposed to live?! The President promised a better economy but this is a tanking economy! Please don’t bother to defend it! It is irrational! It appears it is so important for the President to feel he is dominating the world, he wants to threaten the entire world! How do you think that plays as. Foreign policy?! It doesn’t! Meanwhile you remain mute! The President and his henchman has taken a wrecking ball to federal government under the pretense of fraud, waste and abuse yet Elons wall of receipts is so filled with disinformation, he has to keep taking it down. When fact checked, it doesn’t add up! You remain mute! The Judicial system is under attack for following the rule of law- the very constitution you swore to uphold! You remain mute! A military attack was posted on a commercial app and sent accidentally to a journalist! No one takes accountability! You remain mute! Two students who aren’t criminals remain locked up for exercising their free speech peacefully- both legal citizens- you remain mute! You support the SAVE act that would disenfranchise millions of women because their last name doesn’t match their birth certificate! You suddenly seem to find your voice! What exactly are you doing for Oklahomans- it seems nothing other than passing a Continued Resolution Budget that guts Medicaid, Snap and likely social security and Medicare all while blowing up the deficit by trillions and giving billionaires and billionaire corporations huge tax cuts! Now we know who you work for and it appears to be billionaires! As things get tougher and tougher for Oklahomans, please know we will hold you directly responsible! You aren’t serving us! Silence is being complicit! Shane on you Senator! You betray all of us!
