Vote no on Trump's war funding request and use every tool at your disposal to end this war immediately. Democrats have the power to stop this, but instead you're treating it like a political opportunity. A Tomahawk missile strike on an elementary school in Minab killed 175 people, over 100 of them young girls. That's not a talking point about gas prices or midterm strategy. That's American weapons killing children, and you have the authority to defund it right now. I don't want to hear about hearings or investigations or doing war "the right way." There is no right way to bomb schools. The funding request has already ballooned from $50 billion to $200 billion, and some Democrats are still leaving the door open to voting yes. That's unacceptable. Gas prices matter, but they shouldn't be your most potent attack line when children are being slaughtered. Make the moral case against this war. Use your power to block funding. Stop calculating the electoral benefits of a prolonged conflict and start acting like you actually oppose it.
