Launch an immediate investigation into Mitch McConnell's capacity to serve and the circumstances surrounding his extended, unexplained absence from the Senate. Kentucky's constituents are not being represented, and that is not acceptable. We deserve transparency, not silence. What makes this worse is that Elaine Chao, a former Cabinet secretary and public figure, traveled to China in the days following McConnell's hospitalization while his condition remained undisclosed to the public. That timing demands scrutiny. Republican leadership has offered no explanation, and the coordinated silence from his colleagues looks less like privacy protection and more like a cover-up. If any other employee disappeared from their job without explanation, they would face consequences. McConnell holds a seat of enormous power, funded by taxpayer dollars, and his constituents have a right to know whether he is capable of fulfilling his duties. Demand a full accounting of his medical status, investigate why his wife was in China during this crisis, and stop letting party loyalty override the public's right to know.
