I’m writing to urge you to vote no on the “Big Beautiful Bill” when it reaches senate vote. The last thing our country needs are more tax breaks for the ultra wealthy that will increase our debt and will dramatically cut funding to Medicaid and SNAP while also making paying for college something only the wealthy can afford. Normally, I wouldn’t feel the need to write to my Democrat senators or representatives to tell them the obvious - that they should vote no on what could arguably be the worst bill in American history and something only MAGA loyalists would support, but your voting record during your short time in office has not inspired any confidence that you will make the right choices for your constituents. I hope you’ll prove me wrong and start working to regain the trust of the democratic base that elected you by voting no on this bill.
