Upholding human rights should be a top priority. No individual deserves to be subjected to inhumane conditions or denied due process. Diplomatic solutions that respect the dignity of all people must be pursued through proper legal channels and international cooperation. Taxpayer funds are better invested in programs that create opportunities and strengthen communities rather than enabling human rights violations. Send Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to the US from inhumane detention, and commit to justice, compassion and ethical governance which is essential for a society to thrive.
