The numbers don't lie.
According to TrackAIPAC.com, every member of Washington's congressional delegation — with one exception — has accepted money from AIPAC or Israeli-linked donors:
Patty Murray — $2,242,581
Maria Cantwell — $2,165,780
Kim Schrier — $1,402,935
Adam Smith — $1,335,151
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez — $1,250,848
Marilyn Strickland — $761,436
Suzan DelBene — $686,855
Dan Newhouse — $380,825
Rick Larsen — $344,485
Emily Randall — $99,841
Michael Baumgartner — $91,926
Pramila Jayapal — $0.00
That money is not donated out of goodwill. It is an investment — and recent events have made painfully clear what that investment buys. When our elected representatives consistently prioritize a foreign government's interests over the wellbeing of their own constituents, we have to ask: who are you actually working for?
Representative Jayapal's $0.00 speaks for itself. It is possible to serve your constituents without taking this money. The rest of you have chosen differently.
My message is simple: I will not vote for any Washington representative who continues accepting AIPAC or Israeli-linked money. I will encourage my family to do the same. And I will make sure as many of your constituents as possible see these numbers.
Your votes are supposed to represent us — not the people who funded your campaign.
