Please oppose the building of the Montezuma Carbon carbon capture and storage site in Solano County. The project is being steered toward a low-income, working-class county long burdened with industrial development, and they worry about safety, ecological disruption. I and many others worry whether the technology is a distraction from more effective and affordable climate solutions. Please prioritize energy efficiency, load shifting and renewable power generation instead of carbon capture. Thank you for putting people before profits.
