American companies like Edesia and Mana Nutrition stand to suffer major economic impacts as well from this abrupt policy reversal. I urge you to take immediate action to restore USAID's full funding and logistical support for procuring and distributing emergency therapeutic foods to UNICEF, the World Food Programme and other frontline organizations working to address severe malnutrition globally. Children's lives quite literally depend on your leadership to uphold America's commitment to this lifesaving humanitarian aid program. The human costs of inaction are unacceptable.
