The Department of Justice has quietly executed a sham settlement that grants the President permanent immunity from IRS audits for his past filings. This isn't just a procedural hiccup; it is a coordinated effort from the DOJ to permanently shield his finances from scrutiny and wipe away a staggering $100 million unpaid tax obligation stemming from real estate write-off abuse. The mechanics of this deal reveal just how broken the process is. The President essentially sued his own administration over leaked tax returns, only for his own DOJ to hand him a permanent tax "Super Pardon" just to drop the lawsuit. It is a completely collusive, circular deal designed to bypass the court system—it was never even reviewed or approved by a federal judge. The Department of Justice exists to uphold the law, not to serve as a private shield for a President’s personal financial liabilities. If a regular citizen tried to manufacture a bogus lawsuit to evade a tax audit, they would face swift penalties.
