Title IX Is Under Attack. Fight Back Now! Students Deserve Safety, not setbacks!

Protect Title IX. Protect Students. Title IX is supposed to protect students from sex-based discrimination—including sexual assault, harassment, and discrimination against LGBTQ+ students. But in February 2025, the Department of Education brought back Trump-era rules that weaken those protections and silence survivors. These rollbacks shrink the definition of sexual harassment and make it harder for survivors to report. Schools get a free pass to ignore violence—and students pay the price. The facts: 1 in 5 women 1 in 16 men 1 in 4 trans and nonbinary students …will be sexually assaulted during college. That’s unacceptable. We need real protections—not red tape. Title IX must support: Survivors of sexual violence LGBTQ+ students Pregnant and parenting students Anyone seeking reproductive care Tell the Department of Education: Reverse the rollbacks. Finalize strong Title IX protections by October. Students can’t wait another year.
