Disgusted with HR 1761 - DJT does NOT need to be on money - waste of time.
To: Sen. Banks, Sen. Young, Rep. Spartz
From: A constituent in Muncie, IN
February 28
congress I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent to express my absolute disgust over H.R. 1761, a bill that would require the Treasury to print a $250 bill featuring Donald Trump’s face.
This is a blatant waste of legislative time and an insult to the people you were elected to serve.
Why is Congress wasting energy on a vanity project instead of addressing real issues?
American families are struggling with rising costs, healthcare access, and crumbling infrastructure.
But instead of tackling these urgent problems, you and your colleagues are prioritizing a meaningless tribute to a former president?
This bill does absolutely NOTHING to improve the lives of Americans.
This is not leadership. This is political theater, pure and simple—a desperate attempt to appease Trump and his most devoted followers.
Printing money with his face on it won’t help American put food on the table, afford their prescriptions, or keep their homes heated this winter.
Enough with the nonsense. Do your job and fight for legislation that actually benefits the people of America—not a political stunt that makes our entire nation look ridiculous.
I will be watching closely to see where you stand on this. Your constituents deserve better.
