An Open Letter

To: Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Rep. Roy

From: A constituent in San Antonio, TX

January 28

I feel you do not adequately appreciate public sentiment today here in Texas. The people I speak with at the library, grocery & pharmacy tell me they did not vote in favor of government overreach and abuses resulting in multiple murders of United States citizens. This is hardly getting rid of the worst and Secretary Nome and Stephen Miller must resign or have their pay withheld by Congress. Furthermore, any continued funding of I-C-E or C-B-P must end now. Please work to rewrite the current resolution being discussed to exclude any funding for HHS, ICE or CBP unless or until Noem is gone and a full investigation is completed into how this was allowed to have occurred and what actions and behaviors are being taken and changed to end these abuses. I am asking that you vote ‘no’ to oppose the measure until these changes are implemented or the rest of the funding package is duly authorized. Thank you for your kind consideration and do write back soon to let me know where you stand.
