Todd Blanche is auditioning very hard for the appointment as Attorney General. Please do not confirm him. He represented Trump in criminal cases in NY, and has not stopped acting as his personal lawyer in this administration. His interview of Ghislaine Maxwell and subsequent move to a more lenient prison setting is one example of doing Trump’s will. He is now trying to indict and prosecute Trump’s “enemies”. Pam Bondi’s failure at that led to her firing. The cases have shown that there is no legal basis for pursuing them further, but he will waste government money and human resources on that rather the investigations into the corruption of this administration that is out in plain sight. Trump has sued the IRS for $10 BILLION for the leak of his finances years ago, in effect suing himself, so of course that will be settled in his favor. What Blanche should be doing is suing Elon Musk for his unconstitutional DOGE looking into millions of citizens’ financial and personal data. As far as I know, DOGE has never had Congressional approval as an official government department. We, the citizens, should be suing DJT and Musk for $10 billion for unauthorized invasion, snd sharing of our personal data. A firm NO on Blanche for AG.
