As your constituent, I am asking you to vote NO on Todd Blanche’s nomination for attorney general. The attorney general must protect the rule of law and enforce federal law independently. Todd Blanche’s close personal and professional ties to Donald Trump make him the wrong choice to lead the Department of Justice. The DOJ should never become an extension of a president’s legal defense team or political operation. Please reject this nomination and insist on an attorney general who will serve the Constitution and the American people — not Donald Trump.
