Since Inauguration Day, President Trump has consistently upended our constitutional separation of powers to unilaterally control all branches of our government; impose his political agenda on the entire U.S. population; and extort or prosecute anyone who challenges him, his power, or his financial interests. * He launched a paid subscription service that charges up to $100,000 a month for early access to his own Truth Social posts, enabling him to personally profit off statements that can move financial markets, which some legal experts say classifies as insider trading. * His own administration’s Treasury Department granted preliminary approval for a bank charter to World Liberty Trust, a Trump family-backed crypto venture, allowing them to profit directly from a business that is regulated by the the government. * Trump sued the IRS for $10 billion in damages from a leak of his 2019 tax returns. He then dropped the lawsuit to create a $1.7 billion slush fund free of judicial review and accountability. The fund will be controlled by five people handpicked by Trump’s DOJ, and will funnel taxpayer money to Trump’s political allies, including Jan. 6 insurrectionists. Trump’s DOJ has also included a sweeping permanent ban on IRS auditsor “examinations” into Trump, his family, and his businesses. * He has unilaterally started an unauthorized war with Iran and threatened to commit war crimes in the region. * He has deployed the military against Americans in U.S. citiesand threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act if protestors, politicians, and residents continue to “disobey” ICE officers * He has exploited emergency powers to circumvent established law and enact illegal policies, including tariffs and military strikes. * He has attacked our freedom of speech by threatening legal action against media companies and news organizations for critical coverage, revoking visas from immigrants for their views, and directing the Justice Department to target political opponents. * He has withheld federal funding to assert political control over universities and government agencies. * He has bulldozed Congress’ constitutional authority over tariffs, the budget, and military authorizations to consolidate power within the executive branch. * He has repeatedly defied federal court orders and attacked judges who rule against him. * He has weaponized the Department of Justice to attack political enemies. * He has threatened states’ authority to over their electionsand pushed for additional partisan gerrymandering to rig congressional elections. * The released Epstein files have included thousands of mentions of Trump; it is unclear how many incriminating files are still being withheld by his allies in the DOJ. It is beyond unacceptable that Congress has ceded their constitutional role to allow this fascist attack on our democracy to continue. Do your job an stop President Trump’s dictatorial rule.
