As a constituent, I am writing with deep concern for the moral health of our nation and the integrity of those who hold public office. Scripture teaches that leaders are called to act justly, to protect the vulnerable, and to walk humbly before God (Micah 6:8). The Republican Party in particular has claimed to be the party to protect children and prosecute lawbreakers. Yet there has been little sign of that as the Epstein files have revealed strong evidence implicating men in power. These files have so far been horrifying—one can scarcely imagine what additional horror is being hidden.
When serious allegations surface involving powerful individuals, our commitment to the rule of law and truth must be unwavering. No person is above accountability, including the President of the United States, and justice must be pursued faithfully and without fear or favor.
I urge you to support transparency, due process, and any lawful efforts that seek to uncover the truth and defend the innocent. Upholding moral responsibility in leadership honors both the Constitution and the values that many people of faith hold dear. If you do not, you will be held to account as defending rapists and pedophiles.
