It is time for you and your Republican colleagues to honor the oath you took on swearing in to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Donald Trump is that domestic enemy and he is doing his level best to destroy our democracy and our country. Worse, there are suggestions that he is doing it at the behest of Vladimir Putin. We The People - and I can't believe that I am the only one writing on these lines - demand that you decouple yourselves from Mr Trump and remove him from office. Additionally, I would look very hard at JD Vance, as well, for similar reasons. We must protect this country. We must protect our democracy. Remember in the Declaration of Independence that it says that we have a right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Right now, Trump, Vance, and even Musk are working to take these rights, and more, from us. Please. This is so important at this point in our country's history.
