Just got a tour courtesy of the NYT of a predator’s palace. Jeffrey Epstein’s pad is about as creepy as you might expect. Lifestyles of the Rich and Infamous indeed. I expect all the folks prominently displayed in photographs are maybe wishing they’d stayed home that night. And of course no predator pad is complete without a signed first-edition of Lolita. Prominently displayed as well. Like a literary calling-card. I wonder if we’ll ever know where he got all his money? Any thoughts? Any plans to explore who might have enabled his lifestyle? And why? Following the money would explain a lot. Shouldn’t we want to know who might be responsible for abusing young girls? And how they maybe showed their gratitude to the procurer by fattening his wallet? We the people are looking forward to seeing what Congress comes up with in the days to come. Here’s hoping all will be revealed in due course. Or if not all, at least something.
