One Big Beautiful Bill

To: Rep. Goldman

From: A verified voter in Fort Worth, TX

July 1, 2025

I’m writing to urge Rep. Craig Goldman to oppose H.R. 1, the budget reconciliation bill, and its harmful cuts to vital government programs. Specifically, I am concerned about the massive increase to the federal deficit, the changes to student loan access and repayment options, and the defunding of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Congress should pass a fair and responsible budget that helps traditional working families and communities, not one that slashes our benefits to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. Thank you for your time and consideration.
