Enough Lies and Enough Suffering! Do Your Job!
To: Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley
From: A verified voter in Kansas City, MO
November 4
Why did you choose to run for the Senate if you had no intention of representing the people of Missouri? Every decision you’ve made shows more loyalty to a fascist wannabe dictator than to your own constituents. You were elected to serve us, not to protect corruption, not to enable lawlessness, and not to bow to the whims of one man.
You and your party currently control the Senate, the House, and the Presidency and yet you still can’t govern. Instead of addressing the needs of struggling Americans, you’ve chosen chaos and blind allegiance. This is exactly why so many districts are flipping blue. People are done with cowardice and hypocrisy.
Meanwhile, Americans are suffering. Families can’t afford groceries, housing costs are through the roof, and countless federal employees are working without pay or being sent home. Every day this dysfunction continues, more people slip through the cracks. You are allowing millions of hardworking citizens to carry the weight of your party’s failure while you sit in comfort and refuse to act.
Your legacy will be one of disgrace—defined by your choice to protect a corrupt, authoritarian figure rather than stand up for democracy and decency. Missourians will never forget how you abandoned us when we needed leadership most.
