We demand that they vote no on Medicaid and Medicare cuts.
To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall

June 6, 2025
The proposed budget cuts of at least $700 billion to Medicaid programs would be catastrophic, representing the largest reduction in Medicaid history. Furthermore, the plan triggers automatic cuts to Medicare and slashes food assistance by over $290 billion, amounting to a nearly 30% cut overall. Stripping access to affordable healthcare for vulnerable seniors requiring long-term care and reducing vital food assistance is unconscionable, especially to further enrich the wealthy few. We implore you to reject these draconian cuts that will devastate millions of lives and uphold our nation's commitment to ensuring access to essential services for all citizens, not just the privileged. The well-being of our most vulnerable communities must take precedence over partisan agendas that disproportionately burden the poor while benefiting the ultra-wealthy.
