THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS LAWLESS. AND FLAUNTING IT

What we’re reading, between the lines anyway. Once upon a time the Trump administration blew up a boat they say was carrying drugs to the US. Then after 41 mins of watching them struggle, they blew up the two remaining survivors, clinging to the blown up boat because 1) the vessel appeared to still be afloat thanks to packages of cocaine and that the survivors could have floated to safety and continued to traffic the drugs and 2) Donald Trump has “determined” that the US is in a formal armed conflict with drug cartels and that those in the boats are formally “combatants”. But this supposed war the president has declared is not in any way legal. It’s not even a war. It’s a drug interdiction run amok. And apparently all the administration has to do to continue with the lawlessness is to simply keep doing it. Without a shred of evidence produced. The administration informed Congress of the initial strikes on September 4 to ensure Congress was “fully informed, consistent with the War Powers Resolution.” A total mockery since they have since ignored that resolution. Or you have ignored it. Or you have mutually ignored it. Did you forget that Congress needs to approve any hostile actions that continue longer than 60 days? Wouldn’t that include a war? P.S. that deadline passed in early November. So we’re left with lawlessness, unchecked. Killings sanctioned by an administration with no oversight by anybody. And apparently Congress is powerless to make them do anything they don’t want to do. You are being treated as an extraneous annoyance. Just another roadblock to get around. And so far it seems to be working for them. Admiral Bradley tried to justify the murder on video to members of Congress, behind closed doors. They saw the video. America should see it too. Because it is American leadership that is doing this in our name. And they work for we the people. But this is what we get instead. Andrew Kolvet of Turning Point USA posted on social media: “Every new attack aimed at Pete Hegseth makes me want another narco drug boat blown up and sent to the bottom of the ocean.” Hegseth quoted Kolvet and commented: “Your wish is our command, Andrew. Just sunk another narco boat.” Good job putting this guy in charge. And good luck cleaning up the mess. It’s still unbelievable how easy it’s been for the structure of America to be so very corrupted. And how weak our Congress actually is.
