As your constituent I appreciate your tone when approaching recent political violence. We are all aware of the Democrats murdered in Minnesota, the two assassination attempts against then candidate Trump who both had ties to the Republican Party.
My question is, why are you not calling out President Trump for lying to all of us about political violence and its perpetrators on the political spectrum? We all witnessed far right groups openly murder one woman in Charlottesville. Why are you not holding the Executive accountable for flat out lying?
We all have our differences, but in this great nation we hold individuals accountable for their choices and actions. And as President Trump continues to wage a war against those who openly hold distain for Fascism, which seems like something someone who believes they are a fascist would do,,, you remain silent.
Take a stand against clearly false statements. The Executive should not be gaslighting the entire nation and I know deep down our Oklahoma leadership in DC knows this fact. Step up, do the right thing and demand the Executive stop lying about this topic. It is a dangerous game for all of us that will only encourage and enrage fringe actors on either side. It needs to stop.
