I am sickened by the apparent weaponization of federal law enforcement against political opponents, particularly Representative Ilhan Omar.
The Washington Post reported that a previous Trump administration review in 2019 found no citizenship wrongdoing. Targeting her again, invading her home, and seizing her private property is blatant harassment.
Meanwhile, Trump faces extensive evidence and allegations of fraud, election interference, sexual abuse, misuse of public funds, abuse of presidential power, and other serious misconduct, yet Congress and law enforcement are twiddling their thumbs.
Congress should have aggressively investigated Trump's abuses in and outside office since the day his term began, if not before.
No president should be allowed to weaponize law enforcement, ICE, or the National Guard against political opponents. Congress must act!
