I’m writing to ask you to support and/or Co-sponsor the FAIR Elections Act, just introduced. This bill takes on two of the most serious threats to our elections right now: the abuse of federal databases to purge legitimate voters from the rolls, and the use of AI to spread disinformation and intimidate election officials. The SAVE program alone has produced thousands of false positives while being repurposed to question voters' citizenship. That's not election integrity — that's voter suppression with a federal stamp on it. The FAIR Elections Act would ban cross-referencing federal data to determine voter eligibility, stop unverified purges, and give wrongly removed voters the right to sue. It would also make it illegal to use AI-generated content to fake polling locations, fabricate deadlines, or harass the election workers keeping our democracy running. This bill belongs alongside the many restoration of voting rights bills heading into the midterms. Get behind it now. Thank you.
