I am doing everything I can to not lose hope. I am engaging in every action within my power to implement. I am writing to you, calling you, participating in organized protests, posting facts and vetted information to social media. The confirmation of unfit and dangerous cabinet nominees one after another raises the threat level for everyone in this country. I would like the opportunity to attend a February town hall. I hope you will hold several. I would like you to spearhead actions in which your constituents can participate so that we see and hear you speaking to us, personally leading our efforts. I appreciate your voice in the legislature, your advocacy in committees, and your votes against authoritarianism. But to lead those who elected you through this terror and peril, you must talk directly to us as often as possible. I hope you accept the importance of that visibility. Please show us that you are with us, that you hear us, that you care about us as people. We want to fight this fight with everything we have. We want to see you do that, too, in ways that we can tangibly support right now.
